Ok that makes sense lol no. G-D sought to eliminate evil by shedding the Jewish carpenters blood. No. Where is that in the eternal immutable Tanach? Nowhere, that's where.

G-D with "HIS legions" killed the EVIL Canaanites. G-D said to eradicate Amalek -"who did not fear G-D". G-D said He is at war with Amalek in every generation. Evil must be utterly destroyed. What is evil? When you mutilate and murder INNOCENT people minding their own business. When you do not accept one G-D or curse Him. When you gang-rape. When you terrorize the Holy land. CLEARLY EVIL. Basic Noahide Laws.

Great points, especially the comparison of Joshua and Jesus was noteworthy.

One of the main reason for the annihilation of the Canaanites was that they were hybrids (giants) and not humans beings and like the days of Noah, they were extremely wicked and evil. Here are some supporting passages -

However, the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan (Numbers 13:28-29).

The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them (Numbers 13:32-33).

There were Nephilim and Rephaim (the dead-ones or zombies). I found this article useful -
