The Plan Going Forward
As the grant to write about deconstruction runs out, there will be a few changes on Still Point.
Hello readers of Still Point! I wanted to send a quick update to say:
Thank you for coming along on this journey with me as I have been exploring the meaning of deconstruction and deconversion. It remains an important topic and one that I’ll continue to think about.
I also wanted to say that I have been able to write about deconstruction at all because I was given a generous grant to study the topic in September—and now that grant is running out.
The Plan Going Forward…
As the grant to write about deconstruction is coming to an end, I’ll be able to dedicate less time to writing about it on Still Point. It is still a topic I’m going to be exploring here, but the posts will be more infrequent (and mixed in with other random thoughts about all things Christianity).
Many of you have signed not only as readers of this body of writing, but you have generously wanted to pay to support the work. First off, thanks! Secondly, I’m going to pause your paid subscriptions for now because the writing will be less frequent until the time comes that I can once again dedicate more focus to it.
What I’ll Be Doing Now
I’ll still be writing poetry and Psalm translations on Darkling Psalter and working with Phillip Johnston to send out our monthly resource newsletter, Three Things.
And you can still jump in on the Bible Course and explore the images of water, gardens, and mountains in the Bible.
All the best,
Andy
